The Odisha Deaf Cricket Association (ODCA) is a non-profit association registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 and also under the Act of 1995 for Persons with Disabilities (equal opportunities, protection of rights & full participation). It is dedicated solely towards the development of cricket of people with disabilities in Odisha. ODCA is a member of the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA).
ODCA was founded in May, 2021 and operates throughout the state of Odisha. Since its inception, the society has made coordinated programs to reform the physical mobility and residual skills of differently abled and to integrate them into the mainstream of society through the game of cricket.
Odisha Deaf Cricket Association (ODCA) is governing, promoting, and organising cricket in Odisha, with 50 players affiliated in various domestic level tournaments.
ODCA organised tournaments at the school level, District, Women’s, State, Zonal, National, and International levels. It guides local bodies in organising tournaments at the local level to identify talent and develop teams of coaches, physiotherapists, trainers, umpires, and other team support personnel.
We are committed to integrating deaf cricketers into the mainstream cricket fraternity in accordance with the provisions of the “Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.”
