Indian Deaf Team outclassed South Africa by 39 runs in the final of inaugural Deaf T20 Champions Trophy held in the United Arab Emirates. This is really a special achievement by team India. India Deaf Team will play Deaf International Cricket Council World Cup and Asia Cup next year.
India in the final posted 140-4 in their 20 overs with captain Virendar scoring an unbeaten 50 and Indrajeet Yadav’s 40 at the Malek Cricket Stadium in Ajman. In reply, South Africa were all out for 101in 19.2 overs with R du Plessis emerging the top scorer with 21. Indian bowlers showed an excellent display of their talent with Jitender Tyagi, Kuldeep SIngh and Yashwanth Naidu picking up two wickets each.
